Marissa Wood
Marissa Wood will be entering her 5th year of coaching juniors, with this being her first year as a head coach. Three out of the last four teams that she has coached at Coastal have attended the USAV National Tournament.
Marissa graduated May 2011 from Virginia Wesleyan College, having started all four years and holding the Captain position for 3 1/2 years. She played the position of setter throughout college and has had experience in every position at one point or another in her 8 years of volleyball experience.
Marissa is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She has a passion for fitness which is exhibited through the the conditioning sessions that she runs for the club on top of her coaching commitment.
