2011 Season & Tryout Information
Potential Coastal Athletes: Thank you for attending our 2010-2011 season tryouts. We hope you enjoyed your experience with the Coastal Family of players, coaches, and staff. This season’s tryouts brought a new level of energy and competitiveness, which was exciting to witness. I am sure it was felt by all. After the four days of tryouts have concluded, the coaches will begin making their team selections. Our official signing day will be on August 8th. We will post the commitments on our website, www.coastalva.org. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Coastal.
All the following tryout information is for the GIRLS' 2011 Season. The BOYS' information will be posted soon. Please check back!
ATTENTION!
NEW information concerning TRYOUTS: USAV is requiring all athletes to have an active membership for tryouts. If you have a membership from last JO season, please bring your ID# or card to tryouts. If you didn’t play JO volleyball during the 2010 season please visit the webpoint site to get a tryout ID for $10.
Please fill out the tryout registration form and bring it with you to your first tryout session. The tryout fee will be $60. This will include all four tryout sessions and training from our coaches. We look forward to seeing you there!

2011 Season TRYOUTS
We are excited to announce the dates for Coastal's 2011 Tryouts. Due to our commitment and growing involvement with both the AAU and JVA volleyball organizations, we will continue with summer tryouts. Tryouts will be the weekends of July 24th- 25th and July 31st- Aug. 1st at Tidewater Volleyball Center.
- 13s- 15s from 9:00- 11:30am
- 16s- 18s from 6:30- 9:00pm
*** Attendance at all tryout sessions is not mandatory. The athlete will be considered for a Coastal team if she is present at one of the four sessions.****
The number of teams at each age level will be determined based on the amount of girls who tryout. Tryouts for the 12s team and additional Gold (second) teams will be held in November.
Coastal Garage Sale
We will be having a HUGE Garage Sale at TVA on August 28th. We are asking everyone (past Coastal families, future Coastal families, friends, neighbors, relatives, etc. . .) to start looking through your closets, garages, and attics for any good garage sale stuff. We will be collecting items at the tryout sessions (July 24, 25, 31 and August 1).
