Coastal Volleyball Club

This is another area where Coastal stands high above the other clubs in the Hampton Roads area. For the last several seasons, EVERY athlete from the Girls 18 National team earned her way to an opportunity to be on a college roster (most receiving athletic scholarships). For the 2005 through 2007 seasons, every senior was offered at least two opportunities to be on a college roster; 80% were on 2007 collegiate rosters, with 6 receiving athletic money. Our 2007 through 2009 graduating class saw even higher results with 2008 and 2009 being at 100%.  The 2010 through 2011 rosters again posted 90% for athletic money with recruits. 

Maybe equally important is the fact that Coastal prepares their graduating classes with the knowledge, focus, and attitude necessary to be successful at the collegiate level of play.  Many of Coastal's graduating class eqarned considerable playing time as a freshman in college, as well as eventually being named team captains and all conference selections by the completion of thier collegiate careers.  This is a direct tribute to the coaching stragaties of the staff and their continued effort to produce high quality athletes that are able to play at the next level. Check out the alumni page to see where our athletes have gone to play.

On the boy's side, none of our athletes have received athletic scholarships since 2003, but many are currently competing on NCAA or NAIA Collegiate Varsity and NIRSA Collegiate Club teams throughout the country.
